January Crazies

Not too much to post.  Things are the usual January application deadline insanity at work and thus, I'm worn out by the time I get home each night.  Trying to maintain a good mood at home too so the kids aren't getting the short end of the stick.  Regular exercise and organization definitely helps!  Maintaining my daily walks and 5:30am exercise regime, but when it's so huffin' cold, it's a bit hard sometimes, but I give myself a lot of pep talks.  Seriously, is it ALWAYS this cold in January?   I find that January has very few, if any, redeeming qualities. I mean, it's cold, still dark in the evenings/mornings, you're coming off of Christmas, work is crazy (for me), and it is forever until spring.  I think the only good thing about January I can come up with is that I get a 3 day weekend this weekend thanks to MLK.  BUT, is it sad I wish we didn't?  January 15 is a BIG deadline at work and will therefore make my return to work on Tuesday that much rougher than a usual 2 day weekend.

Such is life.  This too shall pass and spring will come and the world will start anew.

I hate January. The only thing that could spruce it up is a birthday and no one in my family has one this month. Nor do we have a Disney trip planned like last year.

I ready an article saying that the third week in January is the most depressing time of year-- that's when the Christmas bills hit.

Hopefully your busy time at work won't be too stressful

Allen's birthday is in January!!! Now, there is a reason to celebrate if I ever heard one! Ha! Hang in there!

Thank goodness we don't have Christmas bills and save all year to prepare. Eeek! That WOULD make January even worse. Is that possible?
