Things I've accomplished this week:

1. So out of 5 days this week, I made it up 4 times at 5:30 for a pre-work workout. And that 1 day I didn't wasn't my fault. 3 of the 5 days I did the Wii EA Active trainer which is really a decent workout if you've never tried it. It groups together bursts of cardio with lower and upper body strengthening exercises. When I was doing it more consistently in the earlier part of the year, I was definitely seeing some results. After a 30 minute workout I'm usually sweaty and tired even if it wasn't a lot of cardio. Doing lots of lunges, squats and jumps will get your heart rate up in a hurry. This morning was an imposed "rest" day on the Wii so I did 2 miles on the treadmill with a combo of running and walking at various inclines. I'm a little bit beat sitting here at work now. Onto week 2....

2. Finished up season 2 of True Blood from HBO On Demand.  Season 3 starts on Sunday, so glad I haven't been waiting for the next season like everyone else has since last September.  Jason and I don't watch too many shows together since we have different TV tastes but we're both totally into True Blood.  I absolutely LOVE Dexter on Showtime and a friend of mine highly recommended I try True Blood.  So we watched the first episode On Demand a few weeks ago and were pretty much instantly hooked.  We caught up on all 24 episodes in just a few weeks.  The show is about humans and vampires coexisting in a southern town.  Really fantastic.  I'll never think of the name "Sookie" the same way again.  (You know, pease porridge hot......)  There's just nothing like HBO and Showtime series - they just take it to the next level and are so provocative.  Honestly though, I'm just happy having a show that Jason and I can watch together.  Of course when we watch it we have to make sure the gate at the top of the stairs is locked to avoid any children sneaking down and seeing a few minutes of the blood, gore, or nudity.  (Caroline saw a few minutes of the Grey's Anatomy season finale a few weeks ago when I didn't realize she had sneaked downstairs while I was watching.  Thank goodness she only saw a little bit of bloodiness and we talked about how it was just a show and not real and that the character was okay at the end.  Eeek!)
