Mommy's Good Laugh

This evening while the kids were cleaning up the playroom (or giving me a hard time about not wanting to do it), I gave myself a good laugh that I hadn't had in a while.

Bryce was hemming and hawing about not wanting to clean anything up and so I told him that if he didn't help Caroline clean up, he was not going to be allowed to play with any of his toys tomorrow.  Meaning to tell him that all he'd be allowed to play with tomorrow as dirt and sticks, I told him,

"Bryce, all you're going to be allowed to play with tomorrow are dicks and st...."

I caught myself after saying that and started laughing at what I'd just said.  The kids didn't hear it so I said it again,

"Bryce, you're only going to be playing with dicks and st..."

AGAIN, I did it AGAIN!  This time, I couldn't stop laughing and Jason heard me too from the kitchen and got a good laugh out of it.  Thankfully the kids didn't get it and had no idea why I was laughing so hard.  I finally was able to say "dirt and sticks" correctly and moved on with getting the playroom cleaned up.  I needed that laugh though.
