Same Age

My goodness - Piper is pretty much exactly the same age that Caroline was when Bryce was born.  That is just so hard for me to believe.  Although I do remember leaving Caroline with my mom the night before Bryce was born and thinking she was still a baby and then seeing her the next evening and thinking she had suddenly grown up.  Of course, she was talking like crazy too.  I'll never forget because my mother had just taken her to see March of the Penguin and all she could talk about was "the mommies and the daddies and the eggs."  Plus, she is the one who nicknamed Bryce, "Brycey" (or Bicey to be exact).

Whew, I just couldn't imagine having another baby at this point.  Although we are most certainly done.  I've held several newborns and infants in recent months with not one iota of interest in having another.  Nada.  Not that I'm not looking forward to having a few nieces and nephews someday, but my child bearing years are definitely over.  I mean, I'm a little sad never to go through pregnancy and childbirth again, but having to go through another year of newborn craziness on top of the whole breastfeeding and pumping at work thing - sooooo relieved that is over.  Of course my  Piper is still such a baby to me and will always be my baby now.  No, she's not talking much but my goodness that little girl is smart.  I still can't get over the way she manipulates things (literally and figuratively!).  She's got most of us wrapped around her little finger and we have to try very had to resist her adorable ways.
