Teeny Tiny Me

I really need to figure out a better way to copy this.  This is a photo of me from one of those scopes from 1979 (I think) that they take down at the beach.  It's one of my own personal, little treasures.  The quality of it is much better if you look through the scope even though it's a little roughed up.  You can see my cute little face (if I do say so myself) and the resemblance to Piper is UNCANNY.  In fact, I showed it to the kids the other night and both Bryce and Caroline thought it looked just like Piper.  So I showed it to Piper and asked her who it was.  She looked at it for a little bit and she got this big smile on her face and patted herself on the chest.  She clearly thought it was her!

I just wish I had a better way of copying it and blowing it up.  You need a light from behind it but I can't figure out how to do it short of putting it on an old fashioned overhead machine.  Hmmmm.

I just love this little scope of me - I love the expression on my face, the orange bathing suit, the little underpants (diaper) peeking out from under it, my pose.  And even though my parents have lots of pictures of me as a kid, there's just something special to me about this one.  Maybe because I know my parents were on the other side of the photographer smiling at me when it was taken.  Oh yeah, and it's on a beach.  There's nothing better than the beach.

Here's a tip - I put my scope up to the glass storm door on a sunny day and then took my point & shoot and zoomed into the scope to get a pic with out the sides of the actual scope showing (it took me a few times to do it but I'm glad I did cause I now have all my scope pics backed up)
