I Used to Be A Fish!

I don't quite remember how it started, but a few weeks ago, Bryce and Caroline were playing in the playroom and something about being a fish came up. Caroline started singing one of her long, drawn out songs about it and adding all these weird lyrics as she usually does.

Bryce, took his own route. He got on his little Kid Jamz organ and wrote his own little ditty that he actually recorded on the little portable device that comes with it:

"I used to be a fish."

Click clack click clack (mouth sound effects)

"I used to be a fish."

Click clack click clack

This goes on for about 5 minutes and in the background of it you hear Piper yelling and Caroline belting out her version. You also hear a little argument between Bryce and Caroline where she accuses him of stealing her song and he yells "I WROTE IT!" Ah yes, the early sibling fights over plagiarism.

Jason and I LOVE this song. In fact, I was pretty sad this morning to find that it had been deleted off the little recorder. Jason walks around singing it all the time and keeps trying to get Bryce to sing it again. But Bryce is onto him and will only say silly things like "I used to be a dinosaur" or "I used to be an eyeball." I don't know if it's the simplicity of the song or his little sound effects that make me like it so much. Although he's doing a LOT of the mouth clicking lately and that isn't quite as endearing when he's doing it quite so often.
