Bryce-isms

This little boy is hilarious! He's always making us laugh with the interesting things he's starting to come up with or the funny things he is doing. Here are a few....

"Happy New Christmas!" - all the way home last night from our New Year's Eve outing he kept saying this. HAPPY NEW CHRISTMAS! I think he was combining Happy New Year and Merry Christmas from the We Wish You a Merry Christmas song. Too cute!

Beetlebutt - This is what my sweet son named the Care Bear he received from Santa. I was putting Caroline to bed and Jason came in giggling. "Did I tell you what Bryce named his Care Bear? Beetlebutt!" I guess he referred to him as that a few nights ago and now it's stuck. I wonder where in the world THAT came from.

No Shoes or Socks - Bryce suddenly has developed a dislike for shoes and socks. He's almost always found in our house running around in his fat, cute, bare little feet. I will have JUST put socks and slippers on him and before I know it, there he is without them. And he still has trouble getting the socks off so you'll often hear him wrestling with his socks and often getting kind of angry if he can't acheive his goal. Which in turn results in him taking each sock off in a different location so it's hard to find BOTH socks sometimes. A vigilant launderer's nightmare....

Pee or the Pee Sound - Bryce is beginning to show some interest in potty training, but I'm not even close to starting with him. He's starting to ask to sit on the potty but for the most part we know he's just interested in the flushing aspect. And often he'll sit on the potty or the big toilet and just make the pee sound and then say, "I DID IT!" He's not quite sure of the difference yet.....
