Sister Separation Anxiety

Poor Bryce - I think the reality that he has to be alone in his room now is a reality. He must have loved sharing a room with his big sister at the beach. They would talk, dance, sing, and laugh. They would wave their glowsticks that Bertie brought them around and giggle. And in the morning Bryce would wake her up with his "UP Ca-line!" On Sunday night I think he was too tired to notice and then last night he shared a room with her again at the IL's. But tonight, I think he missed her. He kept crying and asking "Where Ca-line?" Looking into those big blue, teary eyes (that he was wiping with his blankie) made me want to cry too. I guess I'm starting to realize how much fun they have together (when they aren't screaming and hitting one another). They really were a bit of a dynamic duo at the beach - even if most of the time it's Caroline telling Bryce what to do or Bryce mimicking what his big sister was doing. But I think that's the age and I'm looking forward to what they'll be up to next.
