"Kelly, Toe!"

My IL's had the kids on their traditional Tuesdays yesterday and b/c my FIL had a doctor's appointment in the late afternoon, my SIL came down to watch the kids until Jason got home. In that time, Kelly managed to paint Caroline's toes a lovely pink and her fingers a clear, sparkly shade. Of course, Bryce wouldn't let Aunt Kelly paint Caroline's nails and not do anything for him, so when I got home, there was my baby boy with one pink big toenail and one sparkly big toenail. And the entire rest of the evening and again this morning he kept saying, "Mommy! Kelly, TOE!" And then he would point to his toes.

Of course you can barely see the sparkly one, but that pink one sticks out pretty well out of his little brown sandals. I think it's pretty darn cute myself as I would have done the exact same thing. It's only a matter of time before he'll want nothing to do with any of that girlie stuff, so I figure it's fun for now. And he's happy being like his big sister - which is just fine with me.
