"Let me see your uvula and move my kitchen!"

I've always thought that my daughter had odd interests. Yes, she gets into a lot of typical kid things too, but every now and then she gets onto these weird tangents. Her latest two are about uvulas and moving her kitchen.

She's constantly asking to see my "ooov-ula" and then wants to see Bryce's. I keep telling her that I don't think she's going to get Bryce to open up wide enough or long enough for her to see his. She likes to look at mine and tell me that it's "a small one" and that her's is even smaller. I've tried explaining what it does but she never remembers and always asks. Leave it to my kid to be interested in a random body part.

And then the other day, she started asking us to move her kitchen. Right now it's in the corner of the playroom next to a window, but not looking out the window. She's obsessed with asking us to move it to the middle of the floor for some reason. I keep telling her it's not the kind of kitchen you can just have sitting in the middle (the back isn't finished) but she doesn't want to hear that. When I came out of the bathroom this morning, she was laying in my bed watching a show and the first thing she says to me is, "Mommy, can you go downstairs and move my kitchen?"

I don't get it. What's the big deal? I told her we could do a little rearranging, but I don't think that is what she wants. She's just too much!
