Get Your Minds Out of the Gutter People!

We spent the day today at Jay's aunt's house with the plan that the kids would go home with the ILs for the night and spend their usual Tuesday with them tomorrow. So when word got around the family gathering that Jay and I would be childless tonight, we kept getting comments like, "Ooooo, have fun tonight!" or "So what are you two going to be doing tonight?" wink wink, nudge nudge And it's not just tonight, on any of the other times we've let the kids go and spend the night w/ the ILs or my parents, we've always gotten a comment from someone insinuating we'd be "getting it on" all night. Is that what we're supposed to be doing? A 16 hour boink fest? I can think of so many things to do with the extra 3 hours of quiet time.

So what have we done w/ our evening of peace? We got home and I watered my outdoor plants, fed my roses, and we took a long walk. Then when we got back I decided to make a recipe I've been wanting to make for a while - Polenta Lasagna. So that took a good hour and it's in the fridge and ready for heating tomorrow night's din din. Jay's been relaxing, watching some baseball, and just piddling around. I suppose we will go to bed in a bit...who knows what that may lead to? Sleeping, maybe?????
