Caroline's Turn

Well it seems Caroline didn't want to be completely left out of the sickies at our house. While she started on Tuesday with the nasty cough that Bryce has, she woke up at 4am this morning with a fever. And Jason, as promised, took his turn to stay home with her. Bryce stayed home too, even though he's mostly on the mend. But they both have this nasty, chesty cough. ICK. I am sooooooooooooooooooooo ready for winter to be over. Thank goodness it's March 1. And I guess I'm okay w/ the rain b/c it's NOT snow or ice.

And I don't know if it's the winter blahs or if I really need to get my thyroid checked, but man, I'm so tired and so cold all the time. I've heard from a few people that I probably should get it checked especially b/c pregnancy can often bring on thyroid problems. And there's more than just the constant chill and fatigue, I've noticed my skin is drier this year and that is a classic sign too. I had it checked right after I had Caroline and the doctor said it was a little on the low side, but b/c it was so soon after having her, he wanted to wait until my body regulated a little more for a conclusive result. Well, time went by and then I got pregnant again and the rest is history. I should probably get another cholesterol/lipid panel and iron check done too. Getting old is a bitch.

Oh and I wanted to add that Caroline told me last night that another thing she wants to do when she grows up is to be able to twirl her spaghetti on her fork, just like mommy. :)
