You never know...

Tonight at dinner we were chatting with the kids about their day and Caroline and I got into a discussion about how she insists on being called Leo all the time now. (For those of you without a 3 year old, Leo is the lead character in Disney's Little Einsteins television show.) Anyway, I asked her if she'd want to be called Leo forever and she said she did. So then I said, "I think you might have a hard time convincing people that you have red hair." And she looks at me totally seriously and says, "You never know."

Well Jason and I looked at each other and started laughing so hard. It's not a big word or a complicated phrase, but it was the fact that she used it correctly. So matter of factly. What a hoot. We had a lot of laughs about that and then she keep saying it hoping we'd laugh more.

But about this Little Einsteins thing, she really goes on with it. I am June, Jay is Quincy, and Bryce is Annie. She even uses the correct pronouns for switching her and Bryce's genders. Although I did tell her she would need to call Bryce "Annie Bryce" since he doesn't understand, so that is his new name. She also calls the van, "Rocket" and told Jason when they pulled into the garage the other day that it wasn't a garage, it was Rocket's room, just like on L.E.

And in Annie Bryce's news, he can now correctly point to all his body parts and thinks it's hysterically funny when he does so. He's also starting to throw mini-tantrums and get really mad when you take him away from something he wants to do. And finally, he's found TV too. Bryce likes Teletubbies. He even ran away from Jason today when he came to pick him up from Cathy's because he wanted to finish his show.

These kids, they grow up too fast!
