More Words

Bryce is starting to say more words and is realizing he can get things by saying them. This evening I got him to say "please" (more like "peas") and my dad got him to say "dude" (more like due) the other day and give him 5! He's been saying "pop pop," "cup," and "big da" for a while now and we all know his favorite word is "mommy" but it's interesting to see his language develop. They say every kid is different and that is most definitely true.

He also really is starting to love dancing with mommy. We listen to his Ralph's World CD and dance around together and he just giggles and giggles. Then when you put him down he thinks dancing is turning around in circle so he puts one arm up and kind of follows it around in circles. Of course then he gets dizzy, falls down, and usually bonks his head - but it usually doesn't phase him.

Tonight at dinner we had a sweet potato event. Both kids had sweet potatoes and Bryce proceeded to rub it everywhere and make Caroline laugh by picking up his chicken and dropping it on the table. He likes to make her laugh now and that's not hard to do, but when she does laugh, he laughs harder. Needless to say, he didn't get to keep his plate long since he clearly was not eating it. So he mainly had a banana for dinner and proceeded to STUFF as much of it in his mouth as he could as fast as he can. Little monkey....
