The difference between kids and adults

Something I noticed this morning. I went into Caroline's room to wake her up and I turned on her CD player with some Christmas music. It wasn't too loud, but I hoped it would wake her in a good mood. I went back in a few minutes later and it was off and she was laying up in her bed under the covers like nothing had happened. Now, the CD player is completely across the room and would involve her scooting down to the end of the bed, using her stool, and turning it off and then getting back in bed. An adult would rather just lay there and listen to it than actually get up and if we did get up, we'd probably just figure, "I'm up, so I'll stay up." Not a kid. They don't see it as futile to get out of bed.

Interesting, isn't it?

That is funny! I would have expected her to get up and start playing with toys or something-- not get back in bed!
