Nothing Exciting...

It's a gray, rainy Tuesday here. Definitely feels like fall, but not beautiful fall we've had the past few days. This weekend was lovely and was just so nice and crisp like it should be this time of year. On Saturday we took the kids to Weber's Farm for all the fall festivities they've got going on there. We met Katie, Landon and Emily there too. And Katie's nephew and brother tagged along as well, so we had 4 little kids to enjoy the excitement.

Caroline LOVED the mazes, pumpkin land, riding the toy tractors, and the hay slide. She even wasn't the least bit scared of the large pumpkins we picked out. She liked watching all the farm animals, but wasn't interested in helping to feed them. But on the way home Jason asked her what her favorite part was and she said, "PUMPKINLAND!" I was so proud of her going on the hay slide by herself too - just thinking about it right now makes me smile and giggle. She's usually not that brave about that kind of stuff, but something just struck her and she did it. And I was surprised how much she like the big hay maze since she couldn't see over it, but to her it was a game. She especially liked it when Emily came into the maze with her and they chased each other around.

Bryce fell asleep on the way home and continued to nap after Jay took him up to his crib, but Caroline ate her lunch and I figured she'd take a long nap. Nope! All that running around did nothing to tire her out. So an early bedtime for her! Then on Sunday we went over to my mom's for another lovely fall day of playing on her swingset, eating veggie soup, and roasting hotdogs and marshmallows on the fire pit.

This weekend is Homecoming down at UM so I'll be attending my first football game in 2 years! I'm looking forward to having some beers before the game and going down to my favorite campus in the whole world. Go Terps!

Yay Caroline for getting over her pumpkin-phobia!!! (Even if she did exchange it for bubblegum-phobia :)
