Travel to UK? NO WAY!

So I'm sure you've heard all the news reports coming out of London about the apparent terror attack that has been thwarted. That kind of stuff scares the crap out of me on any normal day, but today especially. My sister is supposed to be flying to London tomorrow. I haven't spoken with her yet this morning but I am sure she's already aware. Even if you're not scared of the terror threats, you've got to be aware of how extremely crazy the airports will be and the kind of security you'll be going through. Right now you can't take any liquid substance on a plane (lotions, sunscreens, water, hair gel...). The only thing you can take is baby formula and even then you have to drink it to prove it's not explosive. I know my sister wasn't even planning on checking a bag - just taking her giant backpack and she was travelling alone. So needless to say, my mom is totally freaked out and we're just waiting to see what my sister is going to do. But my sister has always been tougher than most and doesn't like to let the "world" mess with her plans so I wouldn't be surprised if she still went. But if it was me, I'd be postponing my trip indefinitely!

It is worrisome, but actually, I'd rather be flying this week than let's say last week, right! After this plot was revealed, security is extremely high and everyone is on their guard. It is probably the safest day to fly ever! At least, that is what I am telling myself since I will be flying soon.
