I came, I saw, I turned 29!

Yep, so Tuesday was my first 29th birthday....any my only 29th birthday. I'm not one of those people who is totally anxious about turning 30. I'm kind of happy with my age. 29 is NOT 19 and I'm glad about that. I think about all that I've learned and accomplished in my 20's and I'm proud of that. I've graduated from college, my master's program, got married, and had 2 kids - all in my 20's, so the 30's are going to be pretty great too. So much to look forward to. Plus, as my friend Katie said, when you're 29, you can remember how old you are! I have to admit, between 26 and 28, if you asked me how old I was, I'd really have to think about it. Plus, Jason turns 30 in April, so I get to be a twenty-something a while longer than him.

Tomorrow begins the Christmas shift. All the travelling and going from place to place. Although it will be a little better this year since my in-laws are coming to our house Christmas morning. We'll be at Jay's grandmother's tomorrow night and then after the morning/early afternoon with Jay's family on Christmas day, we'll be going to my mom's. I can't wait b/c my parents are giving Caroline her kitchen that my dad made. It is so beautiful and she is going to love it. I will have to post pictures.

Oh and here is Caroline's 2 year portrait. The kid is so darn cute!
